The land port is envisioned as a sustainable and symbolic gateway that celebrates the Indo–Nepal border and their shared Himalayan heritage. A sweeping, curvilinear green roof echoes the form of the Himalayan range, enhancing thermal performance while allowing the structure to merge seamlessly with its natural surroundings. At the core of the complex, the centrally placed Administration Block is inspired by the Burans (Rhododendron) flower, representing the heart of the facility as a welcoming, organized, and vibrant focal point. The integration of functional planning with strong cultural and natural symbolism results in a distinctive, sustainable, and memorable trans-national welcome center.
